Oscars 2011: a highly distributed prizes feet

A diferencia de otros años, no había una película favorite but the pools were sharply divided between "The king's speech," the network "and perhaps" black swan "by the revelation yesterday at the Independent Spirit Awards.

Finally, "The king's speech" , an independent film, was the winner of the night with 4 awards, although everything has been widely held. "Origin" also has 4, but the technical side, and "social network" has been only 3.

These are all of the 83 winners Oscars:

Best Picture

  • black swan
  • The Fighter
  • Source
  • The boys are well
  • The king's speech
  • 127 hours
  • The network
  • Toy Story 3
  • Grit
  • Winter's bone

Personally, "The king's speech" was the film that I liked most of all (after "Toy Story 3," which had no chance in this category.) A simple story that manages to get involved from the start.

Best Director

  • Darren Aronofsky (black swan )
  • David O. Russell ( The fighter )
  • Tom Hooper ( The king's speech )
  • David Fincher ( The network )
  • Joel Coen and Ethan Coen ( Grit )

My heart was divided because there were several of my favorite directors from the nominees. Still, betting on David Fincher as the winner, because it seemed the best direction of the year, but has not been.

Actor

  • Javier Bardem ( Biutiful )
  • Jeff Bridges (True Grit )
  • Jesse Eisenberg ( social network)
  • Colin Firth ( The king's speech )
  • James Franco ( 127 hours)

This one was sung. I also bet on Colin and his masterful portrayal of a brave king stuttering.

Actress

  • Annette Bening ( The boys are well )
  • Nicole Kidman ( Rabbit Hole)
  • Jennifer Lawrence ( Winter's bone )
  • Natalie Portman (black swan )
  • Michelle Williams (Blue Valentine )

Natalie Portman received a standing ovation to pick up his first Oscar. Here the pools were not wrong and I'm glad because I love it since I saw her in "Leon the professional" for many years. His performance in "black swan" is overwhelming.

Best Supporting Actor

  • Christian Bale (The fighter )
  • John Hawkes (Winter's bone)
  • Jeremy Renner ( The Town (City of Thieves) )
  • Mark Ruffalo ( The kids are well )
  • Geoffrey Rush ( The king's speech )

This was seen coming, was the favorite. Christian Bale is fine, although perhaps a bit histrionic for my taste. My favorite was Geoffrey Rush.

Best Supporting Actress

  • Amy Adams (The Fighter )
  • Helena Bonham Carter ( The king's speech )
  • Melissa Leo (The Fighter )
  • Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit )
  • Jacki Weaver ( Animal Kingdom) ;

was also the favorite in the pools and what I personally liked the movie "The Fighter." A magnificent performance ambitious mother.

Best Original Screenplay

  • Mike Leigh ( Another Year )
  • Scott Silver, Paul Tamasy and Eric Johnson ( The Fighter )
  • Christopher Nolan (Source )
  • Lisa Cholodenko and Stuart Blumberg ( The boys are well )
  • David Seidler ( The king's speech )

I was torn between Nolan and Seidler, so congratulations to the latter to be done, as I said before, a great story with a premise so simple.

Best Adapted Screenplay

  • Danny Boyle and Simon Beaufoy (127 hours )
  • Aaron Sorkin ( The network )
  • Michael Arndt ( Toy Story 3 )
  • Joel Coen and Ethan Coen (True Grit )
  • Debra Granik and Anne Rosellini ( Winter's bone )

There is no surprise, Aaron Sorkin was the favorite and has been taken. Fantastic script with which Fincher has made an outstanding movie.

Best Animated Film

  • How to Train Your Dragon
  • The Illusionist
  • Toy Story 3

As every year, the winner in this category is again deservedly a Pixar film. Let's see also achieved when the Oscar for best picture.

Best Art Direction

  • Alice in Wonderland
  • Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 1)
  • Source
  • The king's speech
  • Grit

This was the first Oscar of the night. Deserved award for "Alice in Wonderland" (beautiful art direction and original), but my bet was for "True Grit."

Best Cinematography

  • Matthew Libatique (black swan )
  • Wally Pfister ( Source )
  • Danny Cohen ( The king's speech )
  • Jeff Cronenweth ( The network )
  • Roger Deakins ( Value law )

Here was also my favorite "True Grit." Everyone thought that Roger Deakins would get the Oscar, but ultimately was for "Origin." In my opinion, one of the most controversial awards.

Best Costume Design

  • Colleen Atwood ( Alice in Wonderland )
  • Antonella Cannarozzi ( I am love )
  • Jenny Beavan ( The king's speech )
  • Sandy Powell (The tempest )
  • Mary Zophres ( Grit )

deserved second Oscar for "Alice in Wonderland".

Best Documentary Feature

  • Exit Through the Gift Shop , Banksy and Jaimie D'Cruz
  • Gasland by Josh Fox and Trish Adlesic
  • Inside Job , Charles Ferguson and Audrey Marrs
  • Restrepo, Tim Hetherington and Sebastian Junger
  • Waste Land, Lucy Walker and Angus Aynsley

A documentary highly rated by critics, which has irregular practices that led to the current financial crisis. I have wanted to see.

Best Documentary Short

  • Killing in the name , Jed Rothstein
  • Poster girl of Sara Nesson and W. Mitchell Rock
  • Strangers No More, by Karen Goodman and Kirk Simon
  • Without come up, by Jennifer Redfearn and Tim Metzger
  • The warriors of Qiugang , Ruby Yang and Thomas Lennon

Best Film Editing

  • Andrew Weisblum (black swan )
  • Pamela Martin ( The fighter )
  • Tariq Anwar ( Speech King )
  • Jon Harris (127 hours )
  • Angus Wall and Kirk Baxter ( The network )
    Third
Oscar for "network." The exceptional rate of this film is due in large part to its proper installation.

Best Foreign Language Film

  • Biutiful (Mexico)
  • Dogtooth (Greece)
  • In a Better World (Denmark)
  • Incendies (Canada)
  • Outside the law (Hors-la-loi) (Algeria)

This time no luck and "Biutiful" has not was the winner. Sorry for Iñárritu and his team.

Best Makeup

  • Barney's version
  • road to freedom
  • Werewolf

transformation scenes of Benicio del Toro in Wolf Man are impressive.

Best Original Score

  • John Powell ( How to Train Your Dragon )
  • Hans Zimmer (Source )
  • Alexandre Desplat ( The king's speech )
  • AR Rahman (127 hours )
  • Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross (The network )

The second Oscar of the night for "network." My favorite was Hans Zimmer.

Original Song

  • Coming home, Country of Strong
  • I see the light of Tangled
  • If I rise of 127 hours
  • We Belong Together of Toy Story 3

I love Randy Newman! I still know by heart Got A Friend In Me , the first Toy Story.

Best animated short

  • Day and night, Teddy Newton
  • The gruffalo , Jakob Schuh and Max Lang
  • Let's Pollute of Geefwee Boedoe
  • The lost thing , Shaun Tan and Andrew Ruhemann
  • Madagascar, carnet de voyage , Bastien Dubois

A beautiful short you can see here, but my favorite was "The Gruffalo", which you can also see here subtitles English.

Dramatic Short

  • The confession , Tanel Toom
  • The crush, Michael Creagh
  • God of love, Luke Matheny
  • Na Wewe , Ivan Goldschmidt
  • Wish 143 , Ian Barnes and Samantha Waite

Best Sound

  • Source
  • Toy Story 3
  • Tron: Legacy
  • Grit

  • Unstoppable
This Oscar was certainly for "Origin."

Best Sound Editing

  • Source
  • The king's speech
  • Salt
  • The network
  • Grit

    same.

Best Visual Effects

  • Alice in Wonderland
  • Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 1)
  • Beyond life
  • Source
  • Iron Man 2

Very well deserved Oscar for "Origin", which has taken all the technical awards tonight.

honorary Oscar

  • Eli Wallach, Jean-Luc Godard and Francis Ford Coppola.

I can not believe that they no longer say a word! Anecdotally, I just learned that Jean-Luc Godard has not come to the show because he refused an honorary award when he was told.

And here the 83 Oscar ceremony, which lasted just over 3 hours. I am very satisfied, especially with the awards for the performances and speeches excited. Hooray for Natalie and Colin! It was time.

Now I'm going to sleep. Good night, or rather, good morning.
